We're looking forward to enjoying some sweet treats this summer ... and doing so without completely throwing our fitness goals out the window!

When we find recipes that are this good & this easy to make ... we have to share them.

Here's 2 different low calorie, protein packed, rich & creamy Homemade Protein Ice Cream recipes ... it's hard to beat healthy ice cream during the hotter months of the year!

Cookies & Cream Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients:

1 Cup Fairlife Skim Milk

1 Scoop 1st Phorm Level-1 Ice Cream Sandwich

1 TBSP SF Vanilla Jello Pudding Mix

4 Oreo Thins

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients (except oreo thins) to the Ninja Creami container. Fill up to the max fill line and mix well with hand held frother.

2. Freeze container for 24 hours until frozen.

3. Remove frozen pint and install into your Ninja Creami. It's important that your pint has a level surface, otherwise it can damage the blade.

4. For the first spin, press Ice Cream button. Remove the lid and make a small hole in the middle of the pint. Add 2-3 TBSP more almond milk to the center of the hole.

5. Add back to machine, and press the re-spin button.

6. Check ice cream. The final product should be creamy and have a smooth texture. If your desired consistency isn't reached you can add a bit more liquid and spin again on the re-spin setting.

7. Once reached, make another small hole and add oreo thins. Spin once more on mix in setting and enjoy!

Alternatively you can add all the oreo pieces as toppings without spinning once more.

Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients:

1 Cup Fairlife Skim Milk

1 Scoop CarbonFire Element Protein - Strawberries N’ Cream

1 TBSP SF Cheesecake Jello Pudding Mix

1/2 Cup Chopped Strawberries

1 Graham Cracker Sheet

 

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients (except Strawberries and Graham Cracker) to the Ninja Creami container to the max fill line and mix well with hand held frother.

2. Freeze container for 24 hours until frozen.

3. Remove frozen pint and insert into your Ninja Creami. (It's important that your pint has a level surface, otherwise it can damage the blade.)

Ice cream will turn out best with a Ninja Creami, but a blender and food processor works great as well. Just stick it in the freezer after blending!
